‘Pop’n’Rock’ choir is such a welcoming place to sing. The teacher is experienced, talented and is great at sharing their knowledge of singing techniques with a large group. We sing a great variety of pop and rock music, striking just the right balance between easy and challenging songs. ‘Pop’n’Rock’ are always keen to hear the views of all the choir members.

The song choices are great, we also get a chance to suggest songs. They’ve done some beautiful arrangements and it’s a great selection of music from the 60s to now, and everything in between.

Pop 'n' Rock choir is the happiest hour of my whole week! Our choir leader is an inspiration, she is an excellent teacher and brings all of us together as a community no matter age or ability. I have made new friends and have gained a new social circle. I LOVE IT! My daughter saw how much fun I was having and joined us too.

Joining choir was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Meeting such a great bunch of ladies who have become friends . Singing is so good for you, but choir is more than that, it’s a fun , supportive environment . Everyone is so kind and caring and we have a good laugh along the way . There’s a great variety of songs with brilliant harmonies . If you like performing there’s chance to do lots of different gigs but there’s no pressure to do so . The choir leaders are warm and friendly and great at teaching us how to do those lovely harmonies.

I especially love performing at events – there's something really special about seeing the audience joining in and clapping along.
