A Week of Music, Songwriting & Performance for Young Musicians

Dates: 21st–25th July
Location: LS18 Rocks Studio Space, Town St, Horsforth
(Entrance next to Morrison’s car park)
Cost: £180 (inc. VAT) – includes end-of-week gig

Join us for a fun-filled, music-packed week at Summer Rocks 2025, designed for young musicians who want to create, collaborate and perform!

Over five exciting days, participants will:
🎵 Write and record an original song
🎤 Learn and rehearse songs in their band
🎶 Build skills in vocals, drums, bass, guitar or keyboards
🤝 Make friends and have loads of fun
🎸 Perform in a live gig at The Old King’s Arms on Friday at 5:00 pm!

Session Times:

  • Ages 8–11: 1:30 – 4:00 pm

  • Ages 12–16: 4:30 – 7:30 pm

We’re looking for young people who can sing or play drums, bass, guitar, or keyboards. Whether you’re already in a band or looking to join one, this is your chance to rock out and grow your musical skills in a supportive, creative environment.

HOW IT WORKS

Who can join?
Our two summer schools are open to ages 8-11 and 12-16.

When and where?
The summer schools run from the 21st to the 25th July. The 8-11 group runs 1:00pm-4:00pm and the 12-16 group runs 4:30-7:30pm. Both groups take place at the LS18 Rocks studio in Horsforth, Leeds.

Is there a performance?
Yes! There will be a gig for all participants on the Friday at 5:00pm at The Old Kings Arms.

How much does it cost?
The full week costs £180 inc. VAT for the week, which includes all tuition, resources, and performance access.
