This week is a BIG one for Pop ’n’ Rock… we’re launching brand-new choirs!
We absolutely love that our Pop ’n’ Rock family keeps growing, and this week we get to open the doors in Saltaire, Horsley Woodhouse and Wakefield (Tingley) and welcome lots of new faces into our wonderful singing community.
There’s something really special about the very first night of a new choir. A room full of people arriving perhaps feeling a little nervous, excited or wondering what to expect and then, before you know it, everyone is singing together, harmonies are happening, friendships are building and the room is full of music.
And we can’t wait to do it all again this week!
🎤 First stop… Saltaire!
Monday 7th September 2026 – 7.30pm – 9pm
Victoria Hall, Saltaire
Tonight, the brilliant Shane will be kicking things off at the beautiful Victoria Hall as we launch our new Saltaire choir.
We’re SO excited to meet everyone who has already signed up and there’s still time to come along and join the fun!
🎶 Then we’re off to Derbyshire!
Tuesday 8th September 2026 – Horsley Woodhouse, 12.30-2pm.
Next up, Pop ’n’ Rock heads to Horsley Woodhouse for another brand-new Ladies choir launch. Our first EVER DAYTIME CHOIR!!!
We love seeing new singing communities begin to form, and we can’t wait to meet everyone coming through the doors.
💗 And finally… Wakefield!
Thursday 10th September 2026 – 8pm – 9.30pm
St Mary’s Parish Hall, Woodwork, Tingley.
We’ll finish our huge launch week by welcoming our new Wakefield Choir in Tingley on Thursday evening.
Another room. Another group of new singers. Another Pop ’n’ Rock family beginning!

Pop ’n’ Rock is about so much more than singing.
It’s about community, confidence, friendship, wellbeing, laughter and that amazing feeling you get when a room full of people sings together.
There are no auditions, you don’t need to be able to read music, and you definitely don’t need to arrive knowing anyone. Just come as you are and have a sing with us.
